I don't think it's as massively encompassing as Harpoon. Also, the feeling that you should not be getting beaten by some of the things you get smashed by, wherein Harpoon's outcomes felt more realistic.

I should dig around GOG and some abandonware sites. There's probably about 1,000 SSI/ Avalon games that I've never played.

I just installed and played a round for the first time. I had no idea what I was doing. All my air bases damaged and I couldn't figure out how to attack. I was too lazy to read the extensive manual so I dies. I need to print out that thing and take it seriously.

did you have to use dosbox?

I just use dosbox as a matter of course.

I completely forgot how to play this game. Be warned, this is the gateway drug that ends up leading to Harpoon (which is heroin).
